The Gurkha Vintage Shaggy is truly a special cigar based off Pre-embargo Cuban cigars. According to Kaizaf Hansotia, CEO of Gurkha Cigars, it was the eight year old Dominican wrapper which made them famous and extremely loved. The Vintage Shaggy has an eight year old Dominican wrapper with a five year old Dominican binder and filler that creates a smooth, medium-bodied smoke. The cigar’s name comes from the old-world Cuban tradition of not clipping the foot, exposing some binder and filler. The Vintage Shaggy is a creamy smoke that has notes of coffee and leather throughout.
