Country: Dominican Republic

Factory: General Cigar Co.

The most popular cigar started in Jamaica by the makers of the Cuban brand of Punch, but in 1971 General Cigar Company brought the Macanudo out as a self standing brand. Currently produced only in the Dominican Republic, the Macanudo has become the legend that every cigar enthusiast has to have. One of the reasons this cigar remains so popular is the consistency in every cigar and the smoothness you would expect from a medium-bodied cigar. The Dominican filler is selected from only the longest aged tobaccos with a exclusive binder from the St. Andres Tuxtla Valley in Mexico. To complete this excellent cigar a smooth and thin Connecticut Shade wrapper bestows the Macanudo with its light appearance. The Macanudo always delivers an effortless draw with a mild taste that never changes and never grows old.
