The Padron Series 2000 Natural is a great cigar with a great price point. The Padron family is renowned for making wonderful cigars and the Series 2000 Natural is no exception. The Padron Series cigars are made from sun-grown tobacco that is aged for a minimum of two and half years. This cigar made from this tobacco is 5 inches by a 50 ring gauge. The wrapper is light brown, has notable veins and has a light to medium grain texture and features only a single cap on the head of the cigar. The band has a simple brown and white color scheme and features white silhouettes of cuba and flanked either side by what might be two palm leafs. After examining the physical characteristics of the Padron Series 2000 Natural it’s time to light it up.

After cutting the head of the cigar and lighting it the first third began. During this first third flavors of caramelized sugar, and nice woody spicy kick were present. On the retro-hale pink pepper and a slight woodiness appeared. So far this a good start to this cigar. Transitioning into the second third more flavors emerged. A Nuttiness and chocolate comprised the flavor profile of the second third of the Padron Series 2000 Natural. The finish during the second third was a very nice sweet and bitter caramelized sugar. The final third shared similarities of the first and second third. Dry chocolate was the predominate flavor in the final third. The finish was comprised of dry chocolate with a bit of spice at the finish.

The Padron Series 2000 Natural was over all a great cigar that would be a good go-to-smoke. The cigar’s draw was nearly effortless and produced lots of smoke. The ash was normal and mostly light gray. The burn was fairly good; it was uneven at one point but corrected itself during the smoke. This cigar was quite good and I would encourage cigar smokers out there to give this tasty creation from pardon a try.
